Snow Snow Snow....

Well, we prayed for it at Christmas, and 6 weeks later here it is! Its all you hear about on the news- which makes a welcome change from money doom and gloom- and you've never seen a happier child than the moment they hear that school is closed!

Even we have held our hands up and taken a day off (baking) today, opting for the tedium of paperwork in front of the fire, rough with the smooth eh!?

So as a welcome distraction from spreadsheets and other boring things (we're bakers, not number crunchers!) I thought I would pop on and update on here... as well as our daily appearance on Facebook and now Twitter... add us, follow us, poke us, become a fan of us!

We have some exciting things going on behind the scenes here at Fancie Towers and can't wait to be able to tell you all- watch this space!!

We also have an update from Fancie's friend Cindy Cheung, her talents/ Cupcake obsession are massively amazing and her website is a real treat! Between our own website and Cindy's, you will never be bored at work again!

Bye Bye diet!

Greetings Cupcake fans!

So, January is all but over which means only one thing... we can now admit that we never had any real intention of sticking to the New Years diet- Phew!!

So, back to normality -well as normal as it gets in Fancie land- with Valentines day fast approaching (and my Birthday as it happens... gifts? No really... OK if you insist!) the Fancie Girls are on a mission to spread Love and Joy throughout Sheffield. 

We are celebrating Singledom as much as we are celebrating Luuurve and have set ourself a challenge....

So... if there is anyone out there planning on a proposal this Valentines day then get in touch. We would love to assist you by delivering the question on a cake- for free!*

Happy New Year!

So the festive period is well and truly over, and so we enter 2009! 

I trust you all had a super Christmas and enjoyed the New Years celebration to their full Champagne-cork-popping potential, thank you for all the pictures of you enjoying your festives Fancies, its lovely to see our work being enjoyed!

So... what is instore in '09, well firstly we have just moved into Fancie Towers (how exciting!!). Please feel free to come and visit, we would love to see you and show you around! As it's not primarily a retail premises we advise you call ahead just to make sure we're not off delivering our tasty treats to the good folk of South Yorkshire- 0114 276 8644 (yes, new phone number too!)

We will keep you updates with plans for the space, but expect Cupcake workshops, Parties and tastings, but to name a few..... (New years resolution? What new years resolution!)

So the nation spoke and Fancie listened/ baked. Your favourite Cupcakes are now available in a rich fruit cake with a fondant topping, which means they will last for up to a year... (as if anyone could resist them for that long!)

This means that you can buy your gift boxes and give them out any time over the Christmas period. So get your orders in and if you're super generous you can keep some in reserve for the Carol singers- You'll make their day!
