Brrr.... now where did I put my scarf??

Every year I seem to forget just how much I love Autumn, that is until I reach for my pashmina (that doesn't leave my neck again until at least the following June) then I know that I can sit drinking hot chocolate, eat rich spicy cake and  put the heating on without feeling like I'm being indulgent! I am so excited about all the festivities over the coming months and the Fancie kitchen is a-buzz with developing flavours, designing ranges and testing out recipes (its a hard life!).

So get ready folks, because we are going to help you party the rest of 2009 away in a sea of cake- Halloween, Bonfire night and of course, Christmas are all in the bag at Fancie, pictures to come soon!!

National Cupcake Week

Well, that was fun! Last week saw Fancie enjoy a fun filled week of Cupcake celebrations to celebrate National Cupcake Week- Yes, there really is a week dedicated to Cupcakes (and rightly so!)

Not being ones to shy away from a party we filled each day with a different event which varied from an indoor street party, to Fancie angels dropping boxes of cakes round various offices in the city. Congratulations to those who received them!!

Long time....

No blog! Sorry, the last few weeks/ months seem to have flown by in a cloud of icing sugar and cocoa.... achoo!

Everything is going just swimmingly with some very exciting developments lying around on the Fancie kitchen table.... at the risk of being THE most annoying person in the world, we cant divulge just yet but watch this space and you'll be the first to know!

As a little side note and a slightly self indulgent addition to this short post, I just want to extend a massive thank you to all our lovely customers, we've had a real blast over the last 4 months and can't wait to keep it going! After the predictable shaky start with staff coming and going and settling in, we now have a team of lovely girls who are a pleasure to work with and I thank my lucky stars every day that Fancie is in our lives!

Fancie are delighted to be involved with the first Tramlines Weekend.

You can find us on Devonshire Green, Sheffield between the 23rd and 26th of July 2009 enjoying the sights and sounds of Sheffields very own Festival...

The 23rd and 24th is the Memo Market, celebrating everything Sheffield; http://www.memomarket.co.uk/ and we can't wait.

The 25th and 26th is going to be a veritable feast of Culture, Carnival and of course... Cake!!

We ♥ our shop!

So you will see from the lack of posts on here how busy we have been.....

Its been a crazy 3 weeks since we opened, and we've loved every second of it, I can hardly believe its been a full 3 weeks... doesn't time fly when you're eating cake!

We're keeping up with demand as well as we can- although we have sold out most days, so make sure you come as early as possible to avoid disappointment!

As well as our cakes, you can sit and have a cup of tea, coffee or Our Cow Molly Milkshakes- Yummm!!

We are loving playing shop and meeting all our lovely customers, so if you haven't already, come and see us soon!! xx
